LESNEY/MATCHBOX MAJOR PACK M-3A THORNYCROFT ANTAR TANK TRANSPORTER DIECAST TRUCK & TRAILER
Vintage 1960s Lesney Matchbox Major Pack M-3A Thornycroft Antar Tank Transporter die-cast model, manufactured in England. Approximately 57–66 years old. Originally produced as part of the Matchbox Major Pack series, a collection of larger-scale commercial and military vehicles that preceded the later Matchbox King Size range. This collectible British military transporter features an olive-green Thornycroft Antar tractor unit with a detailed enclosed cab, multiple black wheels, heavy-duty chassis and a matching detachable low-loading trailer designed to transport military tanks and other heavy equipment. The model represents the powerful Thornycroft Mighty Antar heavy-haulage vehicle used by the British military for transporting armoured vehicles. An early Lesney military transport collectible featuring classic British engineering and period military styling.
Condition: Grade 5/10 – Fair to Good Vintage Used Condition. Visible paint chips, scratches and general finish wear across the olive-green cab, chassis, and trailer, consistent with age and handling. Minor wear to the wheel assemblies and coupling components. Both the tractor unit and detachable trailer are present. Unboxed.
